I've created this beginner's guide to playing Stardew Valley for anyone who's been thinking about giving this great game a try, or who's had a rocky start and wants to get back into it. Or maybe you just need a refresher!

I'll cover how to get started, explain the controls, anything you need to know or may have missed, and have added some great tips and tricks to help you get the best start possible in the game. Here's how to get started in your first year, with plenty of information for beginners and new players, as well as those of you who may have missed something on your first playthrough.

This guide was created with update 1.5 and is current as of the end of 2021. On to 2022!
