Everyone wants a promotional video for something!
I do a lot of corporate work, particularly in marketing and promotional videos, and that's what we're talking about today.
I'll go through the process I use to create a promotional or marketing video for my business!
I hope you find this content useful! If I left anything out, let me know in the comments section below 🙂

This video details the steps I take to create promotional marketing content for my clients:

1. Create a storyboard and a script

Put together a storyboard before you even think about filming.

2. Prepare the talents. Moderators or interviewees
Making sure all presenters, actors and interviewees know in advance what is expected of them can help minimize mistakes or wasted time on the day of shooting.

3. Know what B-roll footage you need

B-roll, B-roll cutaways!!!

4. Use the rule of thirds
The rule of thirds states that your shot should be composed so that the subject of your interest is on one of the lines or connecting points.

5. Image settings and white balance
You've probably noticed that many corporate videos have a certain look.

6.Lighting
Although it is possible to correct image brightness and contrast in post-production, it is better to get the shot right on the day itself,

7. Check the acoustics of your location
Filming outdoors brings its own acoustic challenges when it comes to traffic or natural noise.

8. Postproduction
Everyone has their own editing method that works for them, and I'll briefly outline my process for putting together copy.

9. Animated assets
It might be worth considering whether engaging in animation and post-production effects is worth it for your clients and whether it will help you improve your video game performance by adding more value to your productions.

10. Separate and clean up the footage.
One thing I like to do first is clean up all my footage before putting anything real together.

11. Music
If you listen carefully to most commercials, you will hear a jingle or some type of background music.

12. Time to build

Now it's time to start actually putting together the rough cut of your marketing video.
