Statistically speaking, you won't win a cosplay contest. And the only person you have control over is yourself, your attitude and your behavior. Winning is great, that's true. And losing can suck, too, that's true. But what if you don't look at it as winning, but as: Today it wasn't your turn to win. That comes later.
In this video, I reflect on my own experiences with cosplay competitions – from the perspective of a very competitive person – and how I compete now. This includes a story about the time I was challenged, and I'm very grateful to @BeMoreShonen for that. It wasn't my proudest moment, but I now look at it as the best learning opportunity I've ever had – the light bulb moment, if you will!
