In this video we walk you through the process of creating epics within sprints and make your project management more efficient and organized.
1. Navigate to the project area ️
2. Access your project: Navigate to the Projects area and click on your project.
3. Find Sprints: Under the project name you will find the /"Sprints/" section. Here you will find a list of all your sprints.
Understanding Epics
An epic is a big, sweeping goal you want to achieve. It's too big to complete all at once, so break it down into smaller, manageable tasks.
Creating and linking epics
1. Identify main task: For example, in the sprint section, you might have a task called “Email Automation” that includes several steps.
2. List steps in the Epic section: All the steps involved in the /“email automation/” can be listed in the Epic section.
3. Add a new epic: Go to the Epic section and add a new epic, for example, Prepare the new email templates and click Save.
4. Link Epic to Main Task: Link this new epic back to your main task in the sprint section /“Email Automation/”.
Managing your epics
Estimated Effort: Your epic shows the estimated effort added in the sprint section.
Change details: Change the start date, end date, phase, and priority as needed.
Editing options: Click the three dots to edit, duplicate, archive or delete the epic.
