Programming a system for storing dialogue and structuring your game's narrative can seem difficult, but using JuJu Adams' Chatterbox library, we can develop a complete visual novel demo in under 15 minutes.

In this tutorial we will learn: use a node-based dialogue editor to create branching conversations, use libraries in GameMaker, and create a visual novel style display.
