Once you have completed the compliance risk assessment process and identified and analyzed your compliance risks, the next step is to create a testing plan. The goal of compliance testing is to assess how the organization adheres to the controls put in place to manage regulatory risks. An effective compliance testing program is a means of verifying a company's compliance health status and determining whether the risk management system is functioning adequately and effectively.
If you have any further insights or helpful thoughts on creating a test plan, I would be happy if you share them with us in the comments.
If you'd like to learn more about creating a test plan, sign up for the fully virtual Compliance Practices Workshop where I go into much more detail about the process. Check our website for more information and upcoming dates.
