About this video: If you want your Minecraft server to stand out from the crowd, the best way to do that is to customize it. One of the most extensive customizations you can make to your server is changing your Minecraft server icon.
Luckily, this video is a complete guide on how to change your Minecraft server icon. This will allow you to add an image to your Minecraft server on the multiplayer screen when a player adds your server. This is great for attracting users back to your server and making your server stand out to them.
To get started, you'll need to create a Minecraft server icon. In the description above, there's a link to Fiverr where you can find someone to create an icon for you. You can also create a server icon for your server. Just make sure the icon is square and looks good in 64×64 pixel format, otherwise it won't work when you add it to your server.
Now that you have your Minecraft server image, you'll need to set up the image to be added to your server. The easiest way to do this is to use the Minecraft server icon converter linked in the description above.
Once you're there, click on a file and select the image you want to use for your server icon, then click the download button. You can also see a preview of how your Minecraft server icon will look on a server.
After your server icon has downloaded, it should be named "server-icon.png". This is extremely important because if the name is not server-icon.png, the image will not work properly when added to your server.
Speaking of adding an icon to your server, how do you add a server icon to your Minecraft server? Well, it's actually quite simple. Just open up your main server directory. This is generally where your server.jar is located, as well as the folders on your server, such as the "world" folder.
Add the image server-icon.png to this directory. Restart your server once it has been added. You have now added a custom image to your Minecraft server that will give your Minecraft server a logo. You will see your Minecraft server icon on the "Multiplayer" screen in Minecraft once you have added your server.
You can change your server icon at any time. Just make sure it is 64×64 pixels and named "server-icon.png". You must delete old icons before you can add a new one.
With that said, you now know how to change your Minecraft server icon. If you have any questions about how to add an image to your Minecraft server, let us know in the comments and we'll do our best to help you out.
