Subscribers are viewers who have opted in to see more of your videos, and they watch them from all areas of the site. They are your core audience and your biggest fans, often providing important first signals about new videos you publish.

The Subscriptions tab is a section of the site that displays a collection of videos from channels that a viewer has subscribed to. This feed includes featured videos and a list of all the latest uploads.

As a reminder, subscribers will also see some subscription content on the homepage and in suggested videos.

Tips:

• Ask viewers to sign up in an honest way, explaining both the benefits and how it will support you.
• Ask them to subscribe to your videos when viewers' moods are at their highest (e.g. after a loud laugh or the climax of a scene).
• Let viewers know where they can watch your channel’s videos after they subscribe.
• Make videos public when you think your viewers are most likely to watch them. Consider cross-referencing your watch time reports by country and/or state.
• Remember that on average, viewers are subscribed to dozens of channels.
• Remember that it is common to have more subscribers than views.
• Turn your ideas into a repeatable show.
• Please note that it is normal for unsubscribes to occur during the upload process.
• See how many people are subscribing to your channel by clicking on the Subscribers report in YouTube Analytics. It can be helpful to compare your subscribers' watch time to the watch time of other traffic sources.
• You can see your subscribers' traffic by going to your Traffic Sources report, clicking Browse Features, and then looking at the Subscribers data.
