Have you ever wondered how brands like Apple actually become Apple?
A large part of their success is due to the fact that they have been able to build brand loyalty.

Brand loyalty occurs when your customers choose to purchase from you repeatedly rather than going to a competitor that offers something similar.
Think about the classic Coca-Cola vs. Pepsi debate. Why do people choose one over the other? It's mostly down to brand loyalty (and probably 10% taste, but we can't prove that scientifically, so you'll have to take our word for it).

In other words, brand loyalty is what helps any business convert its target audience into loyal customers – and your business can achieve it too, no matter your budget or company size! All you need is time and patience.

Here are some of the key brand loyalty strategies used by brands like Apple since the dawn of time, which we covered in detail in our video:

[01:45] Create a brand identity and/or positive experience: To build trust with your customers, they need to see your brand as something they can identify with. This is largely done through your brand design.

[02:54] Buying thriller: Make it clear to your customers early on that you offer first-class service and can make the buying process easier for them.

[03:35] Make yourself known in your community or space: Consider partnering with local community leaders or other already well-established businesses and offer to promote each other's services.

[04:07] Introduce loyalty cards or a rewards program: Once you've brought customers into the store, a loyalty card will help you retain your existing customers and communicate with them more effectively.

[04:57] Focus on building a community: Try to find ways to create an environment that your customers can participate in, but that they wouldn't necessarily be able to access if they weren't your customers.

[06:02] Ask your customers for feedback: The more your customers see that you are willing to adapt to their needs, the more willing they will be to stay with you – because you show them that you care.
