• This is our favourite place for a permanent holiday feeling. There is a swimming lagoon, sandy beaches and grassy areas with sun loungers
• The neighborhood offers a wave pool and aqua park, ideal for families. We loved eating at Hot Tamale, a fantastic Mexican restaurant

• It is a must see crocodiles safely. We enjoyed getting up close and personal with saltwater crocodiles and the unique crocodile fishing experience for kids
• For thrill seekers, the /"Cage of Death/" offers a heart-rending encounter with these giant reptiles

*8:55 – Royal Flying Doctor Service and Bombing of Darwin*
• Cover the history of the RFDS with the bombing of Darwin in WWII. It is interactive, educational and supports our charity of choice
• Features include holograms, a VR experience and a moving reenactment of the bombing of Darwin

*11:08 – Stokes Hill Quay*
• A perfect place to dine with a variety of cuisines and stunning views of Darwin Harbour
• We recommend trying the Mexican tacos and enjoying the food outdoors

*12:33 – Northern Territory Museum and Art Gallery*
• Our top choice for a free experience. The museum features the Cyclone Tracy exhibit and the Transformations exhibit on ecosystems.
• The Kids Discovery Center offers seasonal activities, making it a great destination for families

*13:44 – Mindil Beach Markets and Sunset*
• The iconic and vibrant Mindil Beach Markets offer food stalls, live music and famous sunset views
• We enjoyed the unique experience of getting our hair cut at the market and watching the sunset to the cheers of the crowd

• A self-guided tour through historic WWII tunnels. Explanatory signage and a VR tour complete the experience

• Beyond our top ten list, Darwin offers many other attractions, such as the Botanical Gardens, ski and sailing clubs at Fanny Bay, East Point Military Museum and Charles Darwin National Park.
• The city also has several markets including Parap, Nightcliff and Rapid Creek, which offer the opportunity to experience local culture and cuisine

• We stayed at Darwin Discovery Park, a fantastic family accommodation just 15 minutes from the CBD. It offers over 160 spacious pitches with plenty of privacy
• The park features two pools, a large lawn for outdoor movies, a jumping pillow and a fully equipped gym. Pets are allowed 11 months of the year, although not in July due to the nearby fairgrounds.

• Be prepared for noise from the nearby international airport, which operates without curfew.
• Despite the noise, the location is ideal for aircraft enthusiasts who enjoy watching Air Force jets
