Manchester City's pre-season tour of the USA began with a 4-3 defeat to Celtic in North Carolina.

A first-half brace from Nicolas Kuhn and a clever finish from Kyogo Furuhashi meant City fell behind at half-time, although Oscar Bobb also scored.

Celtic's Scottish Premier League season begins in just over a week, and their extra commitment to performance was evident in the heat of North Carolina's Kenan Memorial Stadium.

A defiant second-half performance, led by the indomitable Bobb, saw City equalise when Maximo Perrone and Erling Haaland both scored, but the winner for the Scottish champions came from substitute Luis Palma.
