Officials in Washington and Jerusalem expect Iran and its proxies to attack Israel as early as tomorrow, August 5, Axios reported. General Michael Kurilla, commander of the US Central Command, arrived in the Middle East on August 3 as he prepared to fend off an expected Iranian attack. On August 4, an attack hit a tent site in the courtyard of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital in central Gaza, killing four people. An Israeli airstrike on a school housing refugees in Gaza City killed at least 15 Palestinians on August 3. The deadly attack came just hours after two strikes in the occupied West Bank killed nine people, including a local Hamas commander. An suspected stabbing attack in Israel's Holon on August 4 killed at least two people and wounded two. Meanwhile, Lebanon's Hezbollah claimed to have fired dozens of Katyusha rockets at Israel on August 4. Hezbollah said it fired around 50 rockets at Israel from southern Lebanon on August 4 amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
