2. Subscribe to other email lists

Sign up for email lists of brands like Nike, Gymshark, Lululemon, etc.

They probably have top-notch email marketers working for them. You'll learn a lot that you can apply to your own emails

3. Build longer flows

These are automated email processes that are triggered by customer actions (e.g. welcome series upon first registration).

Don't be afraid to make them long. Welcome flows can be 10-15 emails long if you deliver good content

4. Don’t send SMS too often

SMS is a very personal marketing channel

Send SMS only for product launches or special offers during the holidays

5. Spend more time on subject lines

It doesn't matter how good your email is if no one reads it

Run a split test and find the best

6. Segment as much as possible

The more you segment, the more personal your emails are

The more personal your emails are, the more sales you will generate

7. Clean up your list

Clean your email list regularly every 1-3 months

This means removing inactive subscribers. Keeping them will hurt your deliverability.

8. Ensure high deliverability

If your email open rate is below 15%, do the following:

– Clean up your list
– Ask for a response CTA
– Send emails in plain text

9. Be clear with your idea/offer

Make sure people know what it is before they have to scroll

People are lazy. Don't make it harder for them to buy your stuff

10. Use 1 CTA

Give your customers a simple and clear CTA in your email

I have seen brands tell their customers 3-4 things in the same email. It just doesn't work
