Following the horrific bushfires of the summer of 2019/2020, the @breathearchitecture crew were devastated by the huge loss of life, property and biodiversity. In particular, they wanted to do what they could to help the brave Rural Fire Service (RFS) firefighters who had lost their own homes whilst defending other people's property and lives. They were subsequently put in touch with firefighter Dave Rugendyke. The Rugendykes' home had burnt to the ground on New Year's Day 2020, leaving Dave, Barbara and their foster children homeless.
