Our report, 'All things equal: Gender equality policies in the public service media sector', examines the strategies that underpin a gender-equitable media organisation: using workplace data and employee feedback to diagnose the issues, effective workplace policies to promote equal opportunities, and enabling a positive workplace culture through flexibility, leadership and behaviours to retain talent.
This work is based on a set of principles to which the EBU is committed: that gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but also a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world; that the global economy cannot reach its full potential as long as a significant part of the world's population is hampered by systematic restrictions; that equality and diversity are essential in genuine democratic societies.
