Welcome to /"FLY FISH AMERICA/" presented by Bluff Line Media. This series features short and feature-length documentaries that tell the stories of anglers and explore unique habitats in the Western Hemisphere.

In this episode, however, we ventured a little beyond the Western Hemisphere to Italy. Maybe we should call the show "Fly Fish World" instead! After that detour, we'll be heading back to the States for our next full episode in my home state of Arkansas. Please like and subscribe for more!

For our first European fishing adventure, we met up with guide Stefano Sabbatelli and angler Pete Erickson. A former member of the US Fly Fishing Team, Pete guides in Idaho and Wyoming. Stefano, known on Instagram as @flyfishingguideitaly, led the US team to victory in the Dolomites in 2022, much to the chagrin of Team Italia, I bet! This summer, they met again for a relaxed, non-competitive morning of fishing on the famous Tiber River, proving that there are indeed trout in Tuscany!
