Corepunk is a very unique upcoming MMORPG that has intrigued me for a while. Imagine if League of Legends, Albion Online, and Everquest had a baby, but the baby liked to eat crayons and constantly bangs its head against the wall. That's basically Corepunk and you'll see why throughout this video.

Corepunk was first announced in December 2019, and there was a lot of positivity in the comments on the announcement trailer.
People loved the art style, the idea of a completely open isometric game, as well as the MOBA combat system and fog of war. This was actually the kind of game I was imagining when people mentioned "The RIOT MMO".
Corepunk also seemed to be pretty far along in development when it was first revealed in 2019. We saw combat, boss fights, multiple environments, party play, and a ton of systems in the UI. We probably wouldn't have to wait 5 years for this game.
However, over the past six months, Corepunk has gone through several alpha tests and the game seemed somewhat playable, so I decided to jump in and try it out for the first time in the Alpha 3 test.
Keep in mind that this game is still in active development and there is probably time for major changes before full release, so please consider my review as purely feedback and my wish for the game to be good.
