Is Fields of Mistria worth buying in Early Access? I bought Fields of Mistria with my own money, have played for over 14 hours at the time of this review, and will give my honest, unbiased opinion on the game. I will also show how Fields of Mistria plays on Steam Deck and an ultrawide monitor, and what updates are planned on the roadmap before the release of 1.0.

Fields of Mistria is a new cute and cozy farming and life simulation game with a bit of magic, minor battles in the mines, unlockable skills and cosmetics, and 12 characters to romance (with more to come). It's a game like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, but with a focus on character interactions, magic, and a cozy color palette.

Fields of Mistria will be released in Early Access on Steam on August 5, 2024, currently costs around $14, and there are no plans yet to port it to Nintendo Switch and other consoles like XBox and Playstation.
