There are 20 bobbleheads in Fallout 4. Finding all of the bobblehead locations will unlock the "These Are Action Figures" and "These Are Not Dolls" trophy/achievement. Each of these collectibles also gives you a new perk or improves one of your special abilities, so they're not just collectibles, they actually provide useful bonuses and make you stronger.

None of them are impossible to miss! Some require you to have completed certain quests, but you can still return to all areas later. You can see exactly which ones you have found in your inventory under /"Miscellaneous/". Each bobblehead has its own name, so it's easy to keep track of them.

Most of these are found right after you start the game, but they are in high-level areas. If you set the game to very easy and bring lots of healing items, you should be able to run past the enemies (unless you have to kill someone for a keycard, etc.). If you don't want to take any risks, wait until you're level 25 and you should be able to get them without too much trouble.

#3 – Science (1 additional attempt at hacking terminals) – 2:04

[Requirement: Loot Access Card from the Gunner Commander in this vault]

#4 – Explosive (15% damage with explosives) – 5:01
[Location: Saugus Ironworks]

#5 – Sneak (You are 10% harder to detect) – 6:19
[Location: Dunwich Borers]

#6 – Barter (prices are 5% better) – 8:25
[Location: Longneck Lukowski's Cannery]

#7 – Intelligence (1 Intelligence) – 9:14
[Location: Boston Public Library]

#8 – Melee (25% critical damage with melee weapons) – 10:38
[Location: Trinity Towers]

#9 – Strength (1 Strength) – 12:22
[Location: Mass Fusion Building]

#10 – Lock picking (lock picking is easier in the long run) – 13:48
[Location: Pickman Gallery]

#11 – Speech (Sellers have 100 more bottle caps to trade) – 15:55
[Location: Park Street Station / Vault 114]
[Prerequisite: During or after the main story quest "Unlikely Valentine". This quest begins in Diamond City]

#12 – Energy Weapons (25% critical damage with energy weapons) – 18:24
[Location: Fort Hagen]

#13 – Unarmed (25% critical damage on unarmed attacks) – 20:39
[Location: Atom Cats Garage]

#14 – Endurance (1 Endurance) – 21:11
[Location: Posiedon Energy. If you're a master lock picker, enter the building via the roof. If not, enter via the drainpipe by the water.]

#15 – Agility (1 Agility) – 22:37
[Location: Wreck of FMS Northern Star]

#16 – Luck (1 Luck) – 23:40
[Location: Spectacle Island

#17 – Small Weapons (25% critical damage with ballistic weapons) – 24:19
[Location: Gunners Plaza]
[Prerequisite: Loot the key to Ryder's recording room at this location]

#18 – Big Guns (25% critical damage with heavy guns) – 26:30
[Location: Vault 95. Higher area, set difficulty to very easy and run past enemies]

#19 – Medicine (Stimpaks heal 10% more damage) – 27:35
[Location: Secret Vault 81. Buy 3 Fusion Cores from vendors to enter Vault 81. Then talk to Bobby in the reactor room and the Doctor on the lower deck. Leave the Vault and sleep for 24 hours. Then return to the Doctor. Accept the quest and follow Bobby.]

#20 – Charisma (1 Charisma) – 34:03
[Location: Parsons State Insane Asylum]
[Prerequisite: Must be level 10, kill some guards outside the asylum. Then talk to Edward Deegan. He has 4 random spawn locations: Colonial Taphouse & Dugout Inn in Diamond City, Third Rail in Goodneighbor, Bunker Hills. After talking to him, the quest /"Special Delivery/" will trigger. Complete it and the follow-up quest /"Emogene Takes a Lover/". This will start the quest /"The Secret of Cabot House/" and give you access to the asylum.]
