In this episode, we get to put our talents to good use! We help price the donated antiques and vintage items at the Garden Club of St. Petersburg's annual flea market in Florida. We help them find a few overlooked items, reveal hidden values, and get a sneak peek… maybe we can even buy one or two!

Donors have been generous, donating antiques and vintage items to this charity flea market! At this flea market, which also features furniture and jewelry galore, we can see everything from Navajo prints by Harrison Begay and 1930s silhouettes to Blue Ridge porcelain and beautifully painted exotic birds from Italian ceramics.

We do this on the fly, so we talk out loud about considerations when pricing for a garage sale. Are the customers resellers or individual buyers? Should we keep sets together or split them up? What prices can we drive higher and which are too high for a two-day liquidation sale? We make our pricing strategies clear so viewers at home considering garage sales or selling at garage sales like this can understand what goes into the hundred pricing decisions that will hopefully send these things home to happy new owners while benefiting the club as much as possible.

In the end, we leave with a few items better suited to be sold elsewhere, and with the satisfaction that our efforts are helping a dedicated group achieve their goals of filling the outside world with beauty by selling antiques and vintage items for the home.
