Justin Sheehan is a Michigan native and native of the Whittemore-Prescott area. He graduated from high school in 2003. After the horrific events of 9/11, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy with the goal of becoming a Navy SEAL. After a grueling two-year training program, he graduated with BUDS Class 261 and earned the right to use that title and wear the "trident." After graduating, Justin received orders to report to SEAL Team Two in Little Creek, Virginia. During his time there, he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor for his combat actions.

Justin was later selected for the elite hostage rescue team SEAL Team SIX, where he remained until 2017. There he was deployed several more times and carried out discreet missions around the globe as an operator for SEAL Team SIX.

During his service he had the following qualifications:

Open Water Diver

Static skydiver

Freefall skydiver

paramedic

SEAL sniper

Specialist in the Pashtun language

Heavy breaker

CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Today, he lives in Rapid City, Michigan with his wife and children. After spending the last few years working toward becoming a doctor, Justin has finally found his way back to his true passion and purpose: building resilience in himself and others. He recently founded Carcajou Resilience Group LLC., a company focused on strengthening the body and mind through tactical training and firearms proficiency.
