Effective RBAC – Jordan Liggitt, Red Hat

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) version 1 in Kubernetes 1.8 provides a flexible way to ensure that users and applications have proper access to the Kubernetes API. This talk is for administrators who want to secure their clusters and anyone who wants to easily integrate their applications into RBAC-enabled environments. This talk will provide an overview of the RBAC design and API, explain how to set up an RBAC-enabled cluster, demonstrate how to apply policies to existing applications, show how to create custom roles that can be distributed with applications, and answer the question "Can Bob train dolphins?"
