The initial load when opening the game is only 20% faster in these easy early areas of the game, but I can imagine it being faster in Boston and similar places. What really blew me away though were the fast travel times and entering/exiting buildings. It turns out that these animations and screen transitions inflate the load time by a lot. Also, by default this mod makes the transition from loading completing to the game popping up twice as fast, which also makes it seem to take less time when you're not doing anything important!

Now the installation instructions –
First, get F4SE from: https://f4se.silverlock.org/
This is the Fallout 4 Script Extender, needed for many mods like this one that use scripts to change the behavior of the game (you will need to start the game with f4se_loader.exe from now on if you want to use this mod, it's worth it and has no impact on performance). Extract it using the readme instructions provided on the website with the download.

Finally, I edit the lines and place the files where I placed them in the video.
DON'T WORRY, this mod doesn't do any FPS unlocking by default and you can just change the ini values I show in the video to only do the loading screen tweaks instead of unlocking anything in the game. The FPS unlocking in the loading screen is also optional to change but apparently helps a little. (The main improvement comes from turning off the loading animations and such.)
