In this episode, Digistep shows how to modify a children's toy called a Zube Tube to create a homemade spring reverb. By putting it in a plastic tube and attaching a speaker to one end and a microphone to the other, you can feed in a signal from your desk or other source, reverb it, and record it back into your DAW.
Equipment used for this session:
Soundtracs CM4400 mixer
Zube Tube (children's toys)
Minirig speakers
AKG C1000 condenser microphone
Unity Audio “The Rock” monitors
Metric Halo 2882 Audio Interface
LogicPro 9
