Design patterns are common ways of solving problems that developers have discovered over time. They often fill in the gaps between language features and design goals. As languages become more mature, patterns sometimes become natural features of languages and blend into the natural way of writing code without requiring any special effort. Java has evolved significantly over the years. In this session, we will revisit some common design problems and see how patterns are implemented to solve these problems with the modern features of Java to solve.
