Test automation can be used to test automotive Ethernet transmitters for compliance with the BroadR-Reach, 100BASE-T1 (P802.3bw), and 1000BASE-T1 (802.3bp) standards. This demonstration shows how to set up an oscilloscope-based test system and perform the Power Spectral Density test specified in the standards.
