In today's competitive environment, the role of the business analyst is no longer just that of a "bridge between business and IT". In recent years, there has been a paradigm shift in the role of the business analyst. In today's resource-constrained environment, clients expect business analysts to have knowledge and skills to conduct business analysis, redesign business processes from end to end, identify bottlenecks in their value streams and most importantly, develop solutions that solve their problems and integrate their vision, strategy and technology into a common organizational goal. Eliciting and documenting requirements is a very small subset of the role of a modern business analyst. This course has been specifically designed keeping in mind the expectations that clients have of an experienced business analyst. In addition to business analysis skills, project management skills are equally important for a business analyst. Since the natural career of a business analyst runs towards project management, we have also included important project management topics that every experienced business analyst must be familiar with in a "real-world" scenario.
