Sign in to your AWS console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/.

In the /“Compute/” section, select /“EC2/”.

Click the /“Start Instance/” button.

Choose an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for your Linux distribution. There are several options available, including Amazon Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian.

Select an instance type. This will determine the amount of CPU, memory, disk space, and network capacity your EC2 machine will have. Select the instance type based on your needs.

Configure the instance details. This includes the number of instances to launch, network settings, and storage settings.

Add tags to your instance. This is an optional step that allows you to add metadata to your EC2 instance.

Configure the security group. A security group is a set of firewall rules that control traffic to and from your EC2 instance. You can create a new security group or use an existing one.

Review your configuration settings and click the Start button.

Choose or create a key pair for your instance. This will be used to securely log in to your EC2 machine via SSH.

Click the /“Start Instances/” button.

Your Linux EC2 machine will now boot. Once it's running, you can connect to it via SSH and start using it.
