Container usage has grown rapidly at Netflix and continues to accelerate. Our container story began naturally when developers downloaded Docker and used it to improve their developer experience. The first production workloads were simple batch jobs, then came groundbreaking microservices, and then status as a best-in-class platform running critical workloads. As the types of workloads changed and their importance increased, the security of our container ecosystem had to evolve and adapt. This session will cover some security theories and architectures, as well as practical considerations and lessons learned along the way.
