This is a fishing rod build video where I do a static test on the fishing rod and work on the guide placement. I attach the guides with rubber bands and then slide them back and forth to get the best placement. When I'm happy with the placement, I mark the rod blank at the tip of each guide foot with a china pen. From there, the rod is ready for wrapping the guides.
