Code performance is not always important. Instead, focus on code readability and maintainability in most cases. It is rare for performance bottlenecks to occur in business logic code. Rather, most performance bottlenecks occur in places like network requests and database requests. Minimizing these is a much better way to improve the overall performance of software applications.
