This lesson briefly covers the ISC2 difference between policies, standards, guidelines and procedures and provides a reminder for those of you who are more technical and less familiar with Domain 1, Security and Risk Management.
The trick to remembering the difference is to write down and say the sentence: “Policies are proven (approved), standards are attitudes, guidelines are good, and procedures are processes.”
