Welcome to The Blue Mouse Knits! Today I'm going to show you how to do a center double decrease (abbreviated as CDD). This is also sometimes called a center double decrease. This is a double knit decrease worked over 3 stitches and decreases 2 knit stitches. It creates a center column and is a perfectly centered decrease. This decrease is done by slipping the first 2 stitches as if to knit, then knitting 1 stitch and pulling the 2 slipped stitches over the K1 and off the hook. When you pull those 2 stitches of the 1st stitch, they will bind off and 2 decreases. I hope you find the video helpful!
