Tournament mode is separate from Call of Duty: Mobile's ranked play.

While Ranked Play is for larger teams and determines qualification for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship, Tournament Mode is for duos or solo players looking to showcase their individual skills. It's also a great place to practice in a competitive environment before climbing the ladder and potentially securing a spot for Stage 3 with your team.

Tournament mode is accessible from the main multiplayer lobby and has its own hub that offers mode selection, a view of rewards, milestones and leaderboards, as well as an overview of your wins and losses during a tournament round.

Tournament mode runs on a weekly reward cycle, and Crowns are the be-all and end-all when it comes to earning milestone rewards, a mix of weapons, soldier skill skins, crate vouchers, and more.

Each week, your crowns will be counted toward one basic milestone and one premium milestone in parallel.
Milestone reward tracks, similar to how Call of Duty Mobile's Battle Pass system works. All players receive the rewards in the Basic Milestone progression track and can use COD Points to purchase access to the Premium Milestone reward track.

In other words, those who continue playing the tournament mode and win games during the game week will receive more crowns and therefore more rewards.
