Hey guys. It's Tyree from Website Muscle. If you watched the videos or read the ebook on our 10 must-do things for good blog posts, thank you. I hope you enjoyed them and found them valuable for your own blogging. As always, I'm available to answer questions and happy to discuss these things. So I wanted to give you my bonus number 11 must-do for good blog posts: videos. That's exactly what I'm doing now and as you can see, you don't have to be a pro to do it. So if you're not a fan of being on camera, you're not alone and… but you might want to think about getting over that fear. Videos actually have a higher chance of ranking on the first page of Google results for video keywords than text pages. And these days, more people prefer watching videos to reading text. So video viewers tend to be more serious buyers, and video marketing drives more page views on a website, more time on a website, and more completed conversions on a website. So it might be a good idea to think about turning those blog posts into short videos. Plus, it really helps to show your personality and make people know, trust, and like you.

And a few more tips on how to make your videos Google friendly: Be sure to include keywords in the titles, descriptions, and tags. Post them to YouTube and then embed them in the relevant pages or posts on your website. You can create a video library on your website so Google knows where to find your content. If possible, link to your website at the beginning of the videos. Ultimately, it really helps to do this. I now use a tool called Soapbox from Wistia to create these videos. So it doesn't have to be professionally done, it doesn't have to be insanely good, you just need to showcase yourself. And it's good, good growth and hopefully business growth too.
