To help creators understand how to create engaging and engaging videos for kids and families, we've developed a set of /"quality principles/" to guide YouTube videos for kids and families. These principles were developed in collaboration with child development specialists and are based on extensive research on children's media, digital learning, and citizenship. Going forward, these principles will inform YouTube's recommendation systems and monetization policies. In this video, we walk through our high and low quality principles and provide examples of each of these principles.
