Battlefield 2042 Playtest Update: If you were approved for the technical playtest, you can now download the playtest version. It will only be playable during the playtest times mentioned above.

You recently signed up for the Battlefield™ 2042 PC Technical Playtest and we are happy to announce that you are participating! Your participation in this playtest will give the development team insight into launch systems and stability, quality and duration of matchmaking as well as game balance in a real production environment.

After you participate, you may be sent a survey to get your feedback on your game testing experience.

This playtest does not contain all final launch features, content, and quality iterations, so you should expect bugs and crashes while playing. Click here to see a specific list of known bugs in the playtest build.

This playable version of the technical playtest will include a limited number of specialists,
Weapons and vehicles. A card is issued for the duration of the Technical
Playtesting. We encourage you to play as much as you like during multiplayer sessions.
Join other teams in technical game testing, but please follow the instructions below to prevent recording/streaming/sharing of game content.

We recommend that you start the download now as it may take some time depending on the speed of your internet connection.
