Tessie, our two-year-old, has already been diagnosed with autism, but our insurance requires her to be re-evaluated every year so she can continue to attend her inclusive school with therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. So today we braved the cold weather to go for another autism evaluation, where a psychologist did an ADOS assessment to see if she still qualifies for the program she is in. Although I was pretty sure of the outcome of the evaluation, and have been through this five times with Maggie, our eight-year-old who also has autism, waiting for the results is always a little nerve-wracking, as all of her therapies and education depend on it!

Welcome to Someday I'll Sleep, formerly Coffee and Cupcakes! We post daily family vlogs about our lives and because we have two daughters who are autistic, we write about autism quite a bit! You'll get a glimpse into what's happening in our lives at the moment, usually in a small town in Michigan or the town where Paul works and where we have about a million therapy sessions every week.

Paul and Cammie (dad and mom at Coffee and Cupcakes) have 5 children. Sadie is 10, Maggie is 8, Patrick is 5, James is 3 and Tessie is now 2!

If you would like to help us translate and transcribe our videos, we would be very grateful! With 5 kids and lots of therapy appointments, Cammie doesn't have much time after she's finished editing the videos, so the transcribing is slow going here! http://www.youtube.com/timedtext_cs_panel?cUCeDzaWX98ne38J07npIKjkw&tab2
