What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. What makes it unique is that virtually everything on ROBLOX is designed and built by members of the community. Each player begins by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. Then they can explore ROBLOX – chatting with others, playing games, or working together on creative projects. Each player also gets their own piece of undeveloped land and a virtual toolbox, with which he can design and build anything – be it a drivable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer game "Capture the Flag" or any other creation he has not yet dreamed of. This first piece of virtual land is free. By participating and building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn special badges and ROBLOX Dollars (“ROBUX”). In return, they can browse the online catalog for avatar clothing and accessories, as well as high-quality building materials, interactive components and working mechanisms.
