Ascending Challenges are bounties awarded by Petra Venj in the Dreaming City that reward you with a handful of gear and Dark Fragments.

To participate in an Ascendant Challenge, you will need a Tincture of Queen's Leaf. These drop from several places in the Dreaming City: public events, chests, patrols, and the Blind Well.

Much of this loot is still used in the meta today. The Dreaming City has one of the most striking aesthetics in Destiny, evident in its armor and weapons.

Completing these bounties is one of the best ways to farm Dreaming City God Rolls weapons like Retold Tale, Twilight Oath, and Vouchsafe.

The XP gains from these bounties are great for newer players still leveling up, or for those trying to quickly climb the ranks of the Season Pass rewards!
