I'm excited to bring you viewers another big and awesome Scratch tutorial with my assistant Tech. This video is my most ambitious yet and provides a step-by-step guide to creating your own scrolling platform game that can scroll both horizontally and vertically. Tech also goes into detail about how to implement popular features like colors, wall jumping, and implementing multiple levels. The best part is that it's relatively beginner-friendly as Tech will try his best to explain how the code works. I'm just going to assume that you know how Scratch and programming work.

August 3, 2024 Rework: This rework includes minor editing fixes and adds an entirely new step that includes mobile support for the platform game. The new content begins directly between the conclusion and step 5.

Only all the code for the basic steps was shown here. Want to see the final code for the project used for this tutorial? Check it out here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1052396668/
