1. The Mixing Engineer's Handbook by Bobby Owsinski: Nothing is more valuable than expert knowledge on your hobby. I learned more from this book in 50-100 pages than from most YouTube tutorials I've learned over the years! The great thing about this book is that almost every topic he covers includes a variety of interview answers from other former or current industry-leading engineers, so you get more than just a single perspective.

2. The Bedroom Super Producer by JT Cloutier: This audiobook is a great motivational and orientation tool for anyone interested in the world of dubbing or licensing instrumentals. JT gives a great overview of the necessary steps, tools and perspectives you need to take your production to a professional level!

3. The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin: another book/audiobook, but less about the technical side of music and more about tuning into the world around you. This book is great if you're lacking inspiration or suffering from a severe case of imposter syndrome!

If you have a favorite, let me know below! Personally, Bobby O's Mixing Engineers Handbook puts me years ahead of my previous technical level and I can't wait to finish the book and use more of it in my productions!
