This is the first video in a new series called /"A Guide to 2D Platformers/". As a change of pace from my Booktube videos, I'd like to introduce one of my most passionate hobbies: platformers. Here I discuss all kinds of platformers, from traditional Mario and Sonic to the rise of the Metroidvania subgenre, and give a basic overview of what to expect.
