If you are looking for a sustainable or ethical investing specialist, I would go to three places. UKSIF.org or Ethical Consumer Magazine, Good With Money Guide also has some recommendations.

I would advise you to always work with someone who specializes in sustainable investing because you will end up working with someone who is very passionate about sustainable investing.

Go with your gut, ask lots of questions, meet at least three or four different people and choose one person who feels like they have your best interests at heart, and trust your own intuition. Dave Ramsey, whose stuff I don't like all of, said to choose an advisor who has the heart of a teacher, and I really like that advice. If you're someone who wants to learn, you might want to choose someone who can really clearly explain investment concepts to you so you understand what is being planned and discussed as you go through the financial planning process.
