In the last video, we discussed three approaches to creating outlines and the pros and cons of each: "planning," where you outline everything; "planning," where you outline some things; and "pantsing," where you outline nothing at all and write on the fly.

But ultimately, these are three very general approaches that don't offer much guidance. How much planning does someone need to do to be considered a "planner"? What is the bare minimum a pantser needs before they can even type their first word? That's exactly what we're going to cover in this video: the 7 levels of planning your fanfiction.
