These containers can be good, but fire mutants and explosives when added back in can hurt you through the container – so that's less fun later in the game lol (but great until then). The island across the street isn't bad, but I prefer the other island I showed in the video next to #3, Red Cliff, as it's closer to resources.

*Updated notes*:
– The teleportation benches have been toned down a bit since that video, but as of this writing, the catapults have similar functionality to what the benches used to have – and you can use those for now… at least until a patch is available, lol.
– The beach is a bit busier than it was at the time of making this video, so be aware that #1 will have more enemies.
-You can now easily build in the giant trees, they are indestructible and immune to fire, much better than normal tree houses
-Water now kills enemies that go deep enough to swim in it. This makes lakes and island bases even better
-It seems that most of the eastern beach, including beach #3, has little enemy activity – beach #3 continues to be a really quiet place
