Welcome to PokeTipsOfficial! I'm your first source for all Pokémon Switch, Pokémon Lets Go, Pikachu, and Eevee news! I'll keep you updated on the latest and greatest Pokémon information, rumors, leaks, guides, and tutorials for Pokémon Switch games!

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! are set in the Kanto region and feature the original 151 Pokémon creatures, as well as their respective Mega Evolved forms from Pokémon X and Y & Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and their Alolan forms from Sun and Moon. Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! feature common elements from the main series, such as battling Pokémon Trainers and Gym Leaders with captured Pokémon creatures that are not player characters.

However, instead of battling them like the traditional battle system of other major Pokémon role-playing games (RPGs), catching Pokémon creatures uses a different mechanic based on the mobile spin-off game Pokémon Go, where players throw Poké Balls at a wild Pokémon using the Joy-Con controller's motion controls. The action can also be performed by pressing a button when the Joy-Con controllers are docked to the console in handheld mode, but again, the motion controls must be used for aiming.
