We've all made these 5 big mistakes at some point while working on our game, and we've learned a lot from them so you can avoid them.

We hope this video helps you avoid many of the mistakes we made when we started developing our Metroidvania game Veil of Maia, so you can save yourself a lot of time and frustration and do better than we did.

Of course with a few silly sketches, some terrible dad jokes, a lot of humility, authenticity, vulnerability and a LOT of compassion for our fellow developers.
