4 Types of Business Engagement Metrics

Most companies view engagement as a metric that relates solely to their marketing efforts, although in fact there are engagement metrics in other business areas as well.

1/ Product/Service Engagement: How complex is the customer's use of your product or service? How many users use only the basic features or upgrade to get a more comprehensive experience?

2/ Marketing engagement: How many attendees are there at a webinar or kick-off event? What are your social media metrics looking like and how are they improving?

3/ Community engagement: Do users interact with each other? Have you created a community platform to create network effects and give users greater value from the opportunity to engage in such a community?

4/ Advocacy Engagement: Does the customer recommend you? Does he bring you recommendations and is this reflected not only in the Net Promoter Score, but in actual recommendations that lead to sales?
