My workshop is broken. It's unusable. My tools are all over the place. There are woodworking tools and jigs on the floor. I can't hang tools on the walls. And I'm constantly tripping over tools and electrical cords. My woodworking workshop is so bad that I don't show certain parts because it's too embarrassing. I decided enough was enough. I fixed my workshop in three major ways. I found a way to hang tools on the wall. I created a lot of storage space. And I organized things, which frees up a ton of space.

I installed tongue and groove boards on my workshop wall. It looks really good! The tongue and groove boards came from my local hardware store. They are made of particle board. Now I can hang tools on the wall without having to find a stud.
I needed a lot of storage space. Instead of building cabinets, I used steel studs that I bought from Rockler. This video is not sponsored; I paid for everything in this video out of my own pocket. I will include a list of the materials used in case it helps. I covered my tool racks with maple plywood and hidden hinges.

Organization is a big problem. I moved my lumber rack and reorganized all my wood panels. Now all my lumber is in one place. It's a huge help. It freed up a lot of wall space so I could add more tools.
In the end, I'm very happy with the result! The shop looks better, but more importantly, my workshop functions better. Let's hope it stays that way.
